La sua voce è descritta dai contemporanei come profondo alto. Ha studiato a Berlino. All'inizio della sua carriera, appare nel ruolo di Orfeo all'Hellerau Festival nel 1912. Seguirono due impegni d'opera a Berlino, vale a dire 1913–1921 alla Court Opera o State Opera e 1923–1925 al German Opera House. [2] Accanto e successivamente, ha sviluppato un'intensa attività internazionale come cantante di canzoni e concerti, si è esibita a Bayreuth e ha guadagnato una reputazione leggendaria come #contralto. Il suo repertorio comprendeva opere di Gluck, Saint-Saëns e Wagner, arie di Monteverdi e Piccinni, cantate di Bach e canzoni di Brahms, Cornelius, Liszt, Mozart, Otto Nicolai, Pfitzner, Reger, Schubert e Schumann. I suoi partner musicali inclusi un. il pianista Michael Raucheisen e il direttore Oskar Fried. Discografia La carriera di Emmi Leisner cadde nell'era della gommalacca, anche prima dell'uscita dell'LP. Le registrazioni d'opera complessive erano rare e quindi non è nota alcuna registrazione complessiva con la partecipazione del cantante.  EVENTO GIGLIANO A VERONA IL 23 NOVEMBRE 2017

L'evento gigliano si terrà in un  tempio della lirica Italiana: la
sala Maffeiana, uno degli interni più belli di Verona, è l'unica parte
intatta dell'originale teatro, rimasta esattamente come era il quel 5
gennaio 1770, quando tutti i presenti poterono assistere
all'esibizione di Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart che stupì tutti gli
accademici dell'Accademia Filarmonica al punto che il giovane
musicista fu dichiarato Maestro di Cappella onorario.

Per l'evento gigliano i posti sono quasi tutti esauriti, ma per i

Il Soprano Astrea Amaduzzi,  con il Maestro Mattia Peli che la
accompagnerà al pianoforte, renderanno omaggio al nome di Gigli
assieme a partner illustri:
il Museo della Radio di Verona, l'Associazione Verona Lirica,
l'Associazione "B. Gigli jr" di Roma,  Belcanto Italiano  e la storica
Associazione Gigli, fiore all'occhiello di Recanati, paese natale di
Gigli.

Le Associazioni Gigliane di Roma e Recanati e il Centro Internazionale
di Studi per il Belcanto della storica cittadina che ha dato i natali
al "Cantore del Popolo", si sono mosse grazie all'idea di Alberto
Chiàntera, Presidente del Museo della Radio di Verona, e grazie alla
concertazione di Beniamino Gigli jr, nipote del grande tenore, che
sarà il vero "collegamento" - tra il passato e il futuro.
Il soprano Astrea Amaduzzi, che lo stesso Gigli jr, testimone diretto
di una qualità intramontabile, ha voluto a rappresentare l'illustre
tenore, dimostra la capacità di cesellare suoni, fraseggio ed
espressioni assieme all'uso sapiente della mezzavoce, tutte qualità
tipiche della scuola gigliana.

Nel 60° anniversario della scomparsa di Gigli questo grande evento
intende sottolineare che la tradizione lirica della Scuola
Belcantistica italiana, può continuare ad esistere soltanto mantenendo
integro il filo conduttore con un passato da studiare e valorizzare in
modo autentico e competente, e in tal senso l'ascolto da dischi
originali e grammofoni che verrà fatto in sala è essenziale. Preziosa
risulta dunque la partecipazione del Museo della Radio di Verona,
unico al mondo per ricchezza e originalità di cimeli storici esposti.

Astrea Amaduzzi e Mattia Peli, alternandosi alle coreografie di
Rossana Sechi e alla voce di Gigli che potrà dunque essere ascoltata
direttamente dagli splendidi grammofoni di Alberto Chiàntera, e
all'ospite d'onore, Beniamino Gigli jr che racconterà aneddoti sulla
vita del nonno,  ceselleranno un repertorio perfettamente attinente
all'occasione:

Sonntag, 10. Juli 2016 15.00 Uhr Protagonisten Chor und Blechbläser-Quintett der Fondazione Arena für die Veranstaltung auf dem Monte Baldo in Pozza della Stella. Auch für 2016 gibt "Mit der Arena auf dem Monte Baldo," Verabredung mit der Oper in großer Höhe jetzt in seiner elften Auflage. Das Konzert, organisiert von der Malcesine-Monte Baldo Cableway in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fondazione Arena di Verona, das Brass Quintet und Chor der Arena di Verona Stiftung der Leitung von Maestro Vito Lombardi und begleitet auf dem Klavier von Maestro Maria Cristina Orsolato ausführen . In der malerischen Umgebung des Monte Baldo Blick auf den Gardasee erklingen Arien aus den bekanntesten Werken von G. Bizet, Mascagni, Verdi, aber auch Stücke von L. Bernstein, J. Clarke, W. Byrd, S neben einigen traditionellen Musik. Joplin, mit Howarth Arrangements und der Anonymous von El Vito, eine Mischung aus Kunst und Natur, die seit 2004 eine große Anzahl von Fans und Veronese anzieht. Die Veranstaltung ist kostenlos Eintritt und wird in der Stadt Pozza della Stella gehalten werden; lange Seilbahn-Stationen sind ein paar szenische Elemente von der Fondazione Arena bis zum Ende des 2016 Festival gewährt entfernt.

 Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 15:00 protagonists Choir and Brass Quintet of the Fondazione Arena for the event on Mount Baldo in Pozza della Stella. Il motivo del tutto esaurito é che in cima, nell'anfiteatro naturale di Pozza della Stella, c'era il concerto dell'Arena di Verona, accompagnato dal Quintetto di ottoni, sempre dell'Arena. Per evitare le code, molti altri spettatori sono saliti dal versante Trentino con la seggiovia Prà Alpesina. L'esibizione musicale sul Baldo è, ogni anno, particolarmente seguita non solo per il panorama sul Lago di Garda che si gode dalla cima del Monte Baldo ma soprattutto perché l’atmosfera rarefatta dei 1.800 metri di altezza richiede maggiore potenza e maggiore impegno agli artisti. Musicisti e cantanti, nell’eseguire brani celebri del repertorio lirico areniano, hanno dato sfogo a tutta la loro esperienza. L’esibizione è stata applaudita e apprezzata anche per la particolare atmosfera creata dal tempo: le nuvole basse e un inizio di pioggerellina hanno aumentato ancora di più le aspettative del pubblico sistemato sul prato ben prima dell’inizio del concerto. All’appuntamento erano presenti inoltre Fernando Morando, membro cda della Funivia; Aldo Salvetti, vicesindaco di Costermano e consigliere provinciale; Marco Ambrosini, assessore al Turismo del Comune di Verona; Gianluigi Favalli, assessore al Turismo del Comune di Malcesine. A presentare il concerto è stata Irene Moretti, mentre la sicurezza del pubblico è stata garantita dai volontari del Suem e del Soccorso Alpino. Siamo gli unici ad organizzare un concerto corale all’altezza di 1.800 metri, con le difficoltà che comporta per gli artisti - ha detto Fernando Morando, membro cda Funivia Malcesine -. Tutte le altre manifestazioni che si tengono sulle montagne anche trentine avvengono tutte e quote più basse. Il Coro dell’Arena sul Baldo è una tradizione cominciata una decina di anni fa, che si era interrotta qualche anno e che ora, da due anni, è ritornata con successo. Il concerto gratuito è un regalo che la Funivia vuole offrire ogni anno ai molti turisti, fra cui tantissimi tedeschi. Il Concerto, organizzato dalla Funivia Malcesine-Monte Baldo in collaborazione con la Fondazione Arena di Verona, ha visto esibirsi il Quintetto d’Ottoni e il Coro della Fondazione Arena di Verona diretto dal M° Vito Lombardi e accompagnato al pianoforte dal M° Maria Cristina Orsolato. Nella suggestiva cornice del Monte Baldo che si affaccia sul lago di Garda sono state eseguite arie tratte dalle più celebri opere di G. Bizet, P. Mascagni, G. Verdi, ma anche brani di L. Bernstein, J. Clarke, W. Byrd, S.
